Prologue Part Two: The Exposition
It seemed to have worked. They had set up a blog, they had invited friends, who had joined. And yet, no stories had been posted except their original bizarre story.
It was curious. Lenny and Ryan had expected a hurried flurry of new posts, a showcasing of talent by each new contributor upon their arrival. Instead, they trickled in slowly and silently, perhaps suddenly too shy to show their narrative sides. Perhaps they just didn't want to go first.
Lenny decided to take matters into his own hands. Maybe his friends needed a little more coaxing than expected. He wanted to make it clear that this was not a place for judgement, that there was nothing to be afraid of. Someone had to go first, and that was that. Mostly, he was just eager to read their stories. He sat down at his computer, and began to type a continuation to their prologue story.
"It seemed to have worked. They had set up a blog, they had invited friends, who had joined. And yet, no stories had been posted except their original bizarre story." he typed. He continued, deftly explaining the situation and making a quiet, slightly sarcastic plea of his peers. He hoped this would be enough to begin the avalanche of new stories. His post was short, sweet, and to the point. He ended the story with one dramatic sentence, directed to the newly gathered group of contributors.
Write some stories already, dammit!

Luckily Chris came to the rescue and decided to render his services to both Lenny and Ryan. He mentioned having spotted a dragon in the far away forest of Flindiggery who knew something about the whereabouts of Bette Midler's newest cd of studio out takes. However the only way to contact this dragon was through his PA. His next opening was a wednesday at 3:15, so naturally Lenny and Ryan scheduled an appointment and went in. After having explained their wishes of finding this lost relic, Ryan and Lenny were presented with a task in order to prove their worthiness to the dragon.
What was this task? Where can you find your own PA? Why Bette Midler? Find out with the next comment left on this blog!

In order to recieve the wherebouts of the Bette Midler cd Lenny and Ryan were told to seek out the Jaberwocky of Bittertigibit and challeng him to pie eating contest. If they were sucsessful then the location of the relic would be revealed, but if not, the dragon would eat them both for they knew too much already. It was a dangerouse task but Lenny had fallen in love with Bette Midler and listning to her music was the only thing that could ease his aching heart, for she had refused him and broke his heart into a zillion tiny pieces. However befor they could leave for this task they needed to hire a PA to take care of buisness while they were away. Ryan called a temp agency and booked one. They didnt know how long they would be gone but all would well with the Pa holding down the fort. Together they set off for Bittertigibit hoping to defeat the monstrouse Jaberwocky...
Do they finde the Jaberwocky? Are they victoriouse? Does the PA do a good job? Find out in the comment to this blogg.
